‘Reached club-to-club agreement’: BBC journo claims Spurs are set to sign attacker

Tottenham are nearing the competion of a deal which would see Mauricio Pochettino land his third new signing of the summer transfer window.

Spurs only have a day left to wrap up their transfer businness for the summer and it looks as though club chairman Daniel Levy is refusing to head into the new season with Tanguy Ndombele as his only major signing.

According to reputable journalist David Ornstein, Tottenham have finally managed to come to an agreement with Real Betis over a move to sign Giovani Lo Celso.

The South American attacker is someone Mauricio Pochettino will be in desperate need of, with his star man Dele Alli now sidelined by another injury right before the start of the season this weekend.

Spurs, who have an eye on a challenge for the Premier League title next season, will be hoping Lo Celso repeats his fantastic form from the Spanish league last season.
