Liverpool kept their place as the Premier League leaders on Wednesday as they thrashed Watford 5-0 at Anfield to stay a point ahead of Manchester City.
The win witnessed the Reds score for the first time in three games after failing to find the back of the net in games against Bayern Munich and Manchester United in the Champions League and Premier League respectively.
After being rocked by an injury to star goal scorer Roberto Firmino at Old Trafford on Sunday, Jurgen Klopp chose to give Divock Origi an opportunity to make a contribution as Liverpool looked to overcome their mini scoring drought.
The 23-year-old has had to settle for the role of a squad player once again for Liveprool this season but he has certainly not been an unnoticed man when given the chance to play.
The Belgium international bagged two goals on Wednesday as Klopp’s men won 5-0 and most of the plaudits went the striker’s way.
