Key Liverpool star appears to have made decision over Real Madrid move

Liverpool star Sadio Mane has hinted about his decision over a potential switch to Real Madrid, following what was a very successful season at Anfield with Jurgen Klopp’s side.

The former Southampton star finished the Premier League season as the joint-top scorer along with teammate Mohamed Salah and Arsenal striker Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.

Mane has become one of the most lethal forwards in Europe, ever since he left the Saints to join the Reds, who have featured in the Champions League final for the last two seasons.

The 27-year-old did score of course, when Liverpool lost to Real Madrid in the 2018 final, and the La Liga club appear to have kept their eyes on him ever since.

Spanish source Diario Gol have previously reported that Madrid are keen on bringing the Senegal star to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, after reappointing Zinidine Zidane as the manager.

Speaking after Liverpool won their sixth European title though, Mane hinted that his decision is to remain at the club as he vowed to the fans that there is “more” to come from him and his teammates.

“We have more things to come,” he said, as per Goal.com

“We will do everything to win [more] trophies with this squad. We are very proud and very happy to win this trophy. The dream has come true.

“I could not have anything better.”
