Leicester City boss Claude Puel has said that he hopes his team is greeted with “strong support” from the fans when they return to action at the King Power Stadium this weekend.
The Foxes will be be playing against Crystal Palace on Saturday, a fixture on home turf for the first time since the defeat to Manchester United which saw a section of the fans send out jeers to express their frustration.
Following the match against the Red Devils, Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell said “it would be nice if (the fans) were patient with us” even though the Englishman did go on to add that “you can understand they expect results with the quality we have got.”
Chilwell’s boss Puel has also joined the call for the fans to change their treatment of the players ahead of the return to action at the King Power stadium this weekend.
“These players need support, strong support, because they train very well, they make hard work in training sessions with concentration, motivation,” said the City boss. “They want to improve.
