‘Told it was a “no” from him’: McDermott reveals what he’s heard about Eriksen transfer decision

With the future of Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen still not resolved, journalist Tom McDermott recently lifted the lid on how the midfielder responded to a transfer offer from another Premier League club.

The Denmark star played the full 90 minutes for Spurs at the start of last month as they were beaten by Liverpool in Madrid, in a frustrating Champions League final.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino will have it in his plans to retain the services of Eriksen, with another Premier League title challenge set to be made next term.

Amid all off the speculation, it looks as though the Danish playmaker has made it clear that Manchester United is not a club he would like to join.

The Red Devils have surprisingly been deemed as one of the candidates to land Eriksen but according to journalist Tom McDermott, the player has told United that he is not interested, as he holds out for a move to Spain instead.

Eriksen has only one year left on his contract and he is yet to show any signs of recommitting to the club.
