Otamendi starts: Manchester City 4-3-3 predicted line-up for Chelsea

Following a remarkable come back on Wednesday night to overcome Schalke in the Champions League, Manchester City have another significant fixture to handle this weekend as they clash with Chelsea in the final of the League Cup.

Pep Guardiola’s men actually faced the Blues only a matter of weeks ago and they simply tore Chelsea apart in a 6-0 drubbing at the Etihad stadium.

With that said, Chelsea were the first team to defeat Manchester City in the Premier League this season and the Blues actually have a decent record against their opponents in recent years.

John Stones and Gabriel Jesus are all deemed to be major doubts for the weekend due to groin and hamstring problems respectively while Benjamin Mendy and Claudio Bravo are both ruled out.

Manchester City will be looking to win the League Cup for the second season in a row after seeing off another London side Arsenal at this stage of the campaign a year ago.
